Dr Edward Lyle is a General Practitioner (MBBS, FRACGP) providing comprehensive, evidence-based care at Coogee Beach Doctors. With 18 years of clinical experience in diverse clinical settings, he offers a warm, patient-centred approach.

 

Dr Lyle has a special interest in family medicine and chronic disease, alongside formal qualifications in skin cancer medicine and surgery, including certificates in primary care skin cancer medicine, advanced dermoscopy and dermal imaging, and primary skin cancer surgery.

Experience & Approach

Dr Edward Lyle is an experienced General Practitioner (MBBS, FRACGP) who graduated medicine in 2007 and attained his RACGP Fellowship in 2013.  Dr Lyle joined the team at Coogee Beach Doctors in April 2024.

 

Throughout his career, he has cared for diverse communities across metropolitan, regional, and remote Australia, including service in Queensland, New South Wales, and Western Australia within group practices, Indigenous health services, and various hospital settings.

 

Dr Lyle maintains a strong dedication to evidence-based, patient-centred care and continuous professional development to ensure the best outcomes for his patients. He has developed special clinical interests in skin cancer medicine, performing office-based surgical procedures, mental health support, travel medicine and the management of both acute and chronic diseases.
